ROBOTIS is a well-known manufacturer of robotics development platforms and components. This company is also active under the name DYNAMIXEL, servomotors with industrial quality and interfaces HER. The MX-28AR servo motors are equipped with an integrated reduction ratio of 193:1, a controller with feedback and driver. In combination with the RS485 interface, the servos can be controlled very precisely and also give the control device feedback any time about the current position. The maximum resolution (position accuracy) is 0.088°. Because each servo can be assigned a unique ID, the servos can be connected in series (one after the other as shown below) and the cabling is reduced to a minimum. The developing heat is optimally discharged by the aluminum front case for a good temperature/time ratio.
