The NetPeppers shrink splice protectors guarantees reliable protection against external influences such as moisture or mechanical load. Thereby, it offers an even better protection against bending through its integrated steel pin than the case with crimp splice protectors. The orange coloring helps inserting the fiber into the sleeve opening without shielding the light of a red light source (VFL) during troubleshooting. The sleeves meet the requirements of standard EN 50411-3-3. Up to a fiber diameter of 900 µm (secondary coating) and suitable for use with any shrink furnace of conventional fusion splicing equipment.
