Description
Wireless laser scanner without battery
The Einlinien-Laserscanner Voyager™ 1202g-bf from Honeywell has a groundbreaking technology for the battery-free operation and offers the freedom of Bluetooth ® without the maintenance requirements and the long loading times of conventional batteries. Like all other Voyager scanner impresses the 1202g-bf by an outstanding performance when linear scan bar codes, especially when reading of damaged or poorly printed bar codes.
An integrated Bluetooth module of Class 2 offers the users complete freedom of movement within a radius of up to ten meters from the base station in a typical work environment. With a direct line of sight to base station, the range is up to 30 meters. Thanks to the practical acoustic paging function can be misplaced devices easily auffi ends. You can also no longer via the cable! Thus, the 1202g-bf once more to a secure and even more productive working environment.
The new wireless technology makes the rechargeable battery completely unnecessary. Instead, a super-capacitor is used, which in less than 20 seconds is fully charged and enough power for the cable-free operation for at least 100 scans. This makes the 1202g-bf ideal for applications that require occasional scanning, for example, as a complement to bioptischen (installed) scanners in retail, where occasionally bulky items in the shopping cart remain and need to be scanned there. With the battery, this also eliminates the time and effort associated with the outdoor adung, and the scanner is also easier and more environment-friendly.
The Voyager is a plug-&-play scanner, with different interfaces as well as automatic interface detection. The automatic configuration of the correct interface according to the connection of the device, and the painstaking scanning of programmable accelerates the installation code is no longer necessary.
The 1202G-bf is based on the proven Voyager platform and offers high performance for linear scan bar codes as well as the convenience of cable, without a battery is required.
