Handy wiring tester with integrated length measurement and tone generator.
In addition, the device detects PoE up to Class 8, 90W (PoE++) , and briefly applies power to the port to test the actual PoE power supply.
The device has a 3.5" color screen with graphical user interface and provides easy-to-understand test results.
Areas of application include: Pre-testing of cabling after installation and before final acceptance with a qualifier or certification; rapid testing of patch cables for correct wiring; locating of ports by means of tone generator and optionally available cable detectors such as: Softing CP15; diagnosis at ports which PoE up to 90W provide; PoE class detection and load application to the port to be tested; troubleshooting installation using PoE
