The PocketBook Era color impresses with a 17.8 cm (7 inch) screen that can display rich 4,096 colors, WAS makes your reading experience both protective to the eyes and non-glare. Advanced E Ink Kaleido™ 3 technology improves resolution and color depth by 50% (compared to previous screen technologies), WAS delivers clear and vivid images that bring content to life. The black and white image resolution is 1264 x 1680 pixels (300 dpi) and the color image resolution is 632 × 840 pixels (150 dpi). With SMARTlight technology, you can adjust the lighting of the reading light: From a cool daylight to a warm, soothing yellow tone to ensure optimum reading comfort at any time of the day.

Owing to identical design of the PocketBook Era the handling of the PocketBook Era is already known and excellent. It has a control panel on the side with mechanical buttons, it is supplemented by a G-sensor for the automatic screen rotation, WAS makes reading equally comfortable for right and left-handed persons.

With the built-in speakers, the PocketBook Era Colour can also triumph in those moments when you prefer to hear than read. The device supports different audio book formats that enable wireless audio playback not only through the speaker but also through Bluetooth®. Standard wired headphones can also be connected to the E-Reader using a USB-C® audio adapter (not included).

The text-to-speech feature can convert text files into audio content, making your library more accessible than ever.
