Description

The layer thickness measuring device has a measuring range of 0 … 2000 µm. The layer thickness measuring device can be used to measure the layer thickness of ferrous (Fe) and non-ferrous (NFe) metals. For a better analysis of the measurements, the layer thickness measuring device possesses a measurement function based on the SSPC standards. This function can be used to check the corrosion protection of a coating with the layer thickness measuring device.The group function can be used to store the measured values directly on the layer thickness measuring device. The layer thickness measuring device has a memory of 50 groups, each with 50 measurements. In each group, a statistic of all measured values is created by the layer thickness meter. All measured data and statistics can be called up again after a measurement run on the layer thickness measuring device.For further analysis of the measured values, the layer thickness measuring device can be connected to a PC. The layer thickness measuring device has a micro-USB interface for this purpose. The software can be used to transfer the measurement data from the layer thickness measuring device to a PC. In addition, it is possible with the software live measurements can be made with the layer thickness measuring device. For further processing of the measured values from the layer thickness measuring device, these can be exported in CSV and XLS format via the software. In addition to layer thickness measurements, the layer thickness measuring device measures the ambient temperature and humidity. The layer thickness measuring device can thus be used to determine whether the climatic conditions are present in order to carry out further machining on the coating. The V-groove can also be used to determine the layer thickness of pipes, for example, with the layer thickness meter. Optionally, the layer thickness measuring device can be equipped with an ISO calibration certificate.
