Description

The LINDY 150m Cat.6 HDMI® 4K60, USB 2.0 & IR HDBaseT KVM Extender is a complete, powerful and reliable solution for extending HDMI® signals over long distances via Cat.6 network cables.

The following combinations of distance and resolution are possible when using high quality Cat.6 (U/UTP or F/UTP) cables:

It supports resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD for playback of videos in stunning clarity. The additional support of HDR (High Dynamic Range) enables the display of contents with improved brightness, higher black and white contrasts and a much larger color scale. This provides a reliable solution for creating eye-catching digital signage solutions in retail stores, immersive displays at events, or engaging setups in larger conference rooms or lecture halls.

The PoC-functionality (Power over Cable) offers additional flexibility. This makes it possible to transfer not only the data but also current via CAT.6 network cable in a point-to-point connection between the transmitter and the receiver, so that only one single power supply is required on the transmitter unit. This is Ideal, when the receiver has only a few outlets.

In HDBT mode, this Extender supports USB 2.0 devices such as mouse, keyboard, and other peripherals that can be connected to the receiver to control a source device such as a PC or laptop or to transfer data, while in Long Reach mode only USB HID devices are supported. With bi-directional IR ports on both sides of the unit, the source device can be easily controlled from the display side, and the display can also be controlled from the HDMI source side.

In addition, the power supply is connected via a screw-in socket, which offers a safer and more reliable connection - perfect for professional installations, in which accidental interruptions may represent a big problem.

HDBaseT is a globally recognized standard for high-quality distribution of AV content and other technologies, including power and control over long distances using cost-effective Cat.6 or higher cable.
