Description

The product offers a 16-bit module for monitoring electrical current with I2C interface and is suitable for a variety of digital bus voltages, including 1.8 V, 3.3 V and 5.0 V.
It monitors the voltage by means of an external resistor and provides information on the current flow, bus voltage and power, whereby a direct readout of the values in amps for current and watts for power is possible.
The device controls the bus voltage applied at its IN pin and is in a position to alert with conditions of over or undercurrent as well as over or undervoltage. This is signaled visually by a red LED.
In addition, the product detects current flows in the normal bus voltages, which can move within the range of 0 V to 48 V, regardless of the operating voltage.
