Description

Cable detector PCE-CL 20 for single-pole or two-pole application / Lamp function on both devices / back-lit display on the receiver / for testing circuits and lines / exact localization of short circuits of the cable detector PCE-CL 20 enables the purging of live and voltage-free cables. In addition to electrical cables, the cable detector also detects gas or water pipes located in the wall or in the ground. This makes it possible to detect short circuits and fuses with the cable detector. This is the reason why the cable detector is well suited to inspect the corresponding wall before drilling to ensure that lines are not hit. The cable detector consists of two individual devices. Once there is the receiver unit and on the other hand the cable detector is supplied with a signal generator. In order to be able to work even in dark environments, both devices are equipped with a lighting function by the cable detector. Three LEDs provide for the perfect lighting on both devices. In addition to the illuminated function, the receiver unit also has the option of activating the background lighting.
