Description

The Foscam SD8P is a high-resolution 8 MP WLAN surveillance camera with 4-fold optical Zoom for security surveillance in indoor and outdoor areas.
The Foscam SD8EP's 8 megapixel UHD video quality delivers pin-sharp, detail-rich images. The high 4K resolution captures every detail, WAS is especially important for the detection of people and objects. The High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology improves the image quality under difficult lighting conditions and ensures that the images are always clear and precise.
With the 4-fold optical Zoom of the Foscam SD8EP, far-away objects can be viewed more closely without loss of quality. This is especially useful for detecting long-distance details or for an overview of a larger area
Equipped with four highly efficient infrared LEDs, the camera delivers clear pictures independent of the light conditions. The advanced night vision technology of this camera gives an effective range of up to 50 meters, even in complete darkness.
The Foscam SD8P PTZ surveillance camera has a swivel range of 355° and a tilt range of 90° and thus offers very extensive coverage.
The camera can track moving people automatically and thus enables a continuous monitoring. With the Foscam SD8P, advanced algorithms are used to differentiate between people and vehicles. This intelligent detection minimizes false alarms and ensures that only relevant alarms are sent. If the surveillance camera recognizes any human movement, it automatically follows the moving person. This ensures that the person always stays in the picture. As soon as the person disappears from the field of view, the camera returns to its default position, in order to continue to monitor the most important area.
An alarm siren and two powerful headlights are integrated in the camera. They are activated as soon as the camera detects motion, whereby unauthorized persons can be deterred or warned. The loud alarm and the bright shining light immediately alert you to unusual activities.
The security camera is equipped with a high-quality microphone and loudspeaker, which enable an optimum communication in both directions. Thanks to the built-in noise suppression, you can easily talk to and listen to people near the camera. This feature is especially useful for communicating with visitors or for keeping unwanted people away.
If the camera detects motion or an unusual noise, you will receive immediate push notifications via e-mail, Foscam APP or FTP server.
The Foscam SD8P surveillance camera supports a dual band WLAN, which enables a connection with both 2.4 GHz and with 5 GHz networks. This reduces connection time and simplifies the setup process. The connection with a 5 GHz network improves the connection quality and prevents signal interferences.
The camera supports micro-SD cards with a capacity of up to 256 GB as well as the cloud storage solution by Foscam, which enables a flexible and secure storage of the recordings.
The Foscam SD8P is compatible with Alexa and Google home and can be controlled via voice commands, WAS makes it easy to integrate into your Smart home system.
The robust housing of the IP66-certified camera offers reliable protection against dust and water. This makes the camera ideal for outdoor use and it can also be used in extreme weather conditions.
