After World War II, Jeep introduced its CJ series, the "civilian jeep". The CJ-7 was new in 1976 and offered several options not available for the older CJ-5, including removable doors and a removable hard top roof. For 1977, Jeep® offered a bold Golden Eagle package that included special motifs and gold-colored wheels. This model kit can be made in the Golden Eagle or Renegade design. Details include a 304-cubic-inch V8 engine, exposed fenders, a rear-mounted spare wheel and stylish steel wheels with off-road tires. Moreover, there are a number of optional parts, which the builder can create an individual off-road CJ-7. - Optional standard doors and hardtop roof - Off-road options include a roll cage, additional petrol canisters, a winch and individual tail lights - Separate cast frame with detailed V-8 engine and four-wheel drive elements - Completely new decals with factory-made Golden Eagle and Renegade designs, as well as an individual strip package and extensive detail markings
