Description
The prototype of this model always takes care of admiration at classic meetings. Particularly the sapphire-blue, organically shaped flank design gives the Ford FK 1000 an unusual look, especially since in the bicolor design mostly simple belly bandages decorate the elegant panorama bus from the former Cologne production. The Ford Transit Panorambus was to be a competitive response to the VW T1 in the Samba version. If you look closely at the Wiking model, you can identify the type designation "Taunus Transit" on the panoramic bus. By the way, a perfectly plausible name, the transporter has benefited from the 55 hp engine from the Taunus 15M since 1958. By the end of the first transit generation in 1965, the small bus buyers looking for convenience were able to order the "Panorama" version and were not disappointed with the visually appealing exterior.
