Spectrum ABS Kevlar is a construction composite filament based on ABS with the addition of aramid fibers commonly known as Kevlar. The demand for better properties than standard ABS, strength and increased tensile strength initiated actions whose aim was to combine the very good properties of ABS with aramide fibers.
The modifications made ensure a reduction in the processing shrinkage, a very good adhesion on the printing bed and a reduction in the material density, as a result of which the printed elements are somewhat lighter than the objects manufactured with standard ABS. Excellent dimensional accuracy enables the 3D printing of objects with exact dimensional accuracy, WAS is especially important for projects with several components.
