Spectrum PA6 Low Warp is an extremely durable material based on polyamide 6, enriched with admixtures, which reduce a high shrinkage during the processing of materials of this kind. The most important features of the Spectrum PA6 Low Warp Filaments are: Its chemical resistance to fuels and oils, its high impact resistance, and very good mechanical properties.
The improved cohesion of the Spectrum PA6 Low Warp material allows for a significant reduction in the effect of the "curling", i.e. separation of the contact surface between the lower base of the manufactured part and the work table. A significant reduction in this negative effect is due to the low processing shrinkage of 0.3%.
Additives that improve the properties of the material make it a self-lubricating material, so that the manufactured parts can also be used in places where friction occurs. In addition, the components produced will have good electrical insulation properties and physiological neutrality.
The technically very attractive properties of Filament Spectrum PA6 Low Warp can be achieved if the basic rules for storage of this type of material are observed (in a dry and dark place with humidity below 15%). To achieve the best possible parameters of the printed object, it is recommended to dry the material before starting work.
