Portable turbidity meter according to ISO 7027 (with two automatically switching measuring ranges of 0...50 NTU and 50...1000 NTU) the opacimeter PCE-TUM 20 is a handy measuring device with a large display, which fulfills all requirements for a turbidity measurement on site. The measurement range of 0…1000 NTU is divided into two automatically-converted ranges to increase accuracy. With the clear keyboard, the PPCE-TUM 20 turbidity meter is very easy to use. The light source is an LED that operates at a wavelength of 830 nm in the infrared range of light and is therefore not visible to a human eye. Since the measurement is carried out in the invisible area, the possible staining of the sample is of very little importance in the measurement. Due to the arrangement of the photodiodes at 180° and 90° angles, transmitted light measurement is applied for the high measuring range and scattered light measurement is applied for the low range. With the supplied calibration standards of 0 NTU and 100 NTU, you can calibrate and adjust the PPCE-TUM 20 turbidity meter at any time. The opacimeter PCE-TUM 20 meets all standards required in accordance with EN 27027 / ISO 7027.
