The radiation protection meter is a portable handheld device for measuring beta, gamma and x-rays. A GM tube (Geiger-Müller tube) detects radiation exposure, which can be harmful to humans and the environment. The real-time value, mean value and accumulated dose are displayed on the large color display of the radiation protection meter. In addition, the radiation protection meter can display a bar chart of the last measured real-time values.
A set alarm value warns the user when the set limit is exceeded. The radiation protection measuring device possesses a data storage for 167857 values, which can be called up at the push of a button.
The storage interval and also the automatic switch-off can be changed or switched off. In the settings of the radiation protection meter, 4 menu languages can be selected.
