Description
The Mobeye CM-Guard-40 is a universal 4G/GSM alarm detector for monitoring technical installations. It has 4 NO/NC inputs for potential-free sensors. The CM-Guard-40 works completely with batteries or with external power supply and batteries as backup. In addition, the CM4040 has numerous configuration options, such as a choice of push message/call/SMS/e-mail, automatic on/off times, custom alarm texts per input, alarm delays, and test reports. The CM Guard is also prepared for the transmission of alarm signals via the SIA DC-09 protocol to private alarm centers. The device is used by security companies as an alarm detector for a monitoring system, by industrial companies as a monitor for machine and pump faults, by system integrators as an alarm module for sensors and by organizations that wish to know if a door or box was open, etc.
The detector can be operated only with batteries for a long time. Or alternatively with external voltage. This makes the detector extremely versatile for use indoors. For outdoor use, the manufacturer offers the CM4040, as a special order, in an IP66 chassis.
When using an external voltage source, the Mobeye CM4040 also monitors the presence of external voltage. A regulated 12-24V DC voltage source or a power supply can be connected to the intended voltage input. If there is a power failure, the internal batteries take over and the communication module sends an alarm. The input contacts and connected sensors will continue to be monitored.
The online activatable Mobeye SIM card offers the SIM/Portal/APP service with full functionality and optimal security. The device then operates in the highly reliable 4G LTE-M network with 2G as a fallback and always selects the strongest provider. The portal provides online insights, simplifies programming, and performs automatic communication checks. The Mobeye CM4040 SIM card costs 60.00 euros a year (plus VAT).
When using your own SIM card, the device works with 2G; with an LTE-M SIM card and the correct APN data also on 4G. The operation takes place "standalone", without using the Mobeye portal and the APP. Alarm messages are sent by SMS to (max.) 5 contacts. Programming is done via SMS commands.
