SMARTPASS 120T is a multi-functional 24 V power management solution and a separate charging system for vehicles with two batteries (starter battery and second battery). SMARTPASS 120T distributes, regulates and optimizes the energy supplied by the generator to the second battery and power consumers. SMARTPASS 120T is used when the alternator can provide the required charging voltage and many parallel loads with an average load above 10 A are connected to the second battery. If the secondary battery voltage is too low, the SMARTPASS 120T battery protection function will switch off all devices connected to the consumer output. This protects the second battery against deep discharge and extends its life. In order to maximize the separate charging process, SmartPass supplies power to the connected consumers directly from the alternator while the engine is running. SMARTPASS 120T ensures safe operation by security features such as battery temperature protection, dynamic overcurrent protection and excess temperature protection.
