Description
The SIMPLEX soft-hammer of the 3089 series contains the polyamide / soft-metal insert combination.
The white polyamide insert (series 3208) offers outstanding impact characteristics and enables maximum strength with the highest durability. It is made of extruded, extremely homogeneous material. Compared to injection-molded plastic inserts, this makes it much more resistant to wear and tear and does not splinter even at minus temperatures. It is also oil and grease resistant.
The silver-colored soft metal insert (series 3209) is made of aluminum and is hard, heat-resistant and replaces a classic lead hammer.
The cast iron casing has an integrated handle protection sleeve, which provides high protection against breakage.
The high quality, vibration-damping, ergonomically designed wooden handle is double painted in the grip area and thus completely insensitive to dirt.
According to the clever SIMPLEX principle, all components are interchangeable and can be retrofitted. This saves not only money but also resources.
