The 3244 series of Hickory wood stems are ergonomically shaped and painted and are used in SIMPLEX gudgehammers with D60mm to D140mm die-cast METAL housings. The handles for the D60mm and D80mm impellers are 700mm long, the handle for the sizes D100mm, D125mm and D140mm is 900mm long. Hickory is a very long-grain wood, WAS on the one hand leads to a great stability of the stems. On the other hand, the stems never completely break two, but both pieces remain connected to each other. This prevents injuries from leaking hammer heads.
