Powerful PoE power supply
The Reolink RLA-PS1 offers Power over Ethernet (PoE) for power and data transfer via a single cable. Several devices can be operated simultaneously with 8 PoE+ ports and 2 Gigabit Ethernet uplink ports. It supports the IEEE802.3af/at-standard, supplies 30 W per port and offers a total of 120 W power for up to 8 PoE devices.
Protection mechanisms for optimum safety
The switch possesses a Power-management, which ensures that the total power of 120 W is not exceeded. In case of overload, the PoE ports starting with port 8 are switched off to ensure the safety. The 4 KV surge protection protects connected devices from lightning damage, especially in exposed environments.
Automatic device detection
The Reolink RLA-PS1 automatically detects whether connected devices are PoE-compatible and supplies these only then with power. Non-PoE devices are reliably operated over the Ethernet connection without power supply to prevent damage.
Plug & Play installation
The Reolink RLA-PS1 is a plug and play solution that does not require extensive configurations. The switch works perfectly with your PoE-cameras and transfers data and power at the same time via a single cable. It can be connected directly to an NVR or integrated into the same LAN to extend the functionality of the cameras.
Restrictions on WLAN cameras
The Reolink RLA-PS1 only enables the network for WLAN cameras, but no power. WLAN cameras must also be connected to a separate power source.
