The Montech XR Midi Tower in detail
The XR by Montech is a Midi Tower with a very elegant front I/O together with a design that resembles wood grain. It is also optimized for air flow and comes with a total of three integrated, powerful ARGB-PWM-fans ex-factory. With this the manufacturer sets the basis for every gaming computer, which sets its focus on cooling performance. The case consists of a sturdy steel construction, whose side part and front are made of tempered glass. The lid, the side of the power supply chamber and the rear side panel are provided with a fine mesh. The high air permeability helps to cool your components.
Montech XR: Stylish, compact and robust
Both fans of air cooling and water cooling enthusiasts get their money's worth with this housing: The Montech XR offers possibilities for installing a total of nine fans. Instead of at the front are two strong 120-mm fans pre-installed on the side. Three 120 mm fans can be installed on the lower power supply cover. A 120 mm fan is also pre-installed at the rear side. All three of the Montech fans can be controlled via PWM-signal and possess an ARGB-lighting. Three 120-series or two 140-series can be retrofitted in the cover. The height of the CPU cooler is limited to a maximum of 175 mm.
Plenty of room for radiators
Also provided for fans of AiOs or custom water cooling systems HatMontech. On the side up to 240 radiators can be mounted. In the cover is place for an radiator that measures up to 360 mm. Thanks to the generous mesh areas, a lot of air gets out and into the housing. To keep your cooling efficient and to make cleaning your fans easier, additional dust filters are installed on the side and in the floor. You can easily remove it, clean it and replace it.
Space for drives and well-equipped I/O-panel
The interior offers extraordinary space for powerful hardware, for example for ATX mainboards and high-performance gaming graphics cards with a length of up to 420 mm. By optional PCI-bracket by Montech, the graphics card can also be installed vertically. Two 2.5 inch SSDs can be attached to the back of the motherboard tray in the appropriate brackets.
Under the power supply cover of the Montech XR there is a drive cage for two 3.5-inch hard drives. ATX power supply units with a length of up to 230 mm fit behind them. The I/O panel of the SKY TWO offers two USB 3.0 type A connectors, one USB-C port, one 3.5 mm jack socket for headphones and microphone, and one reset button.
