Description
This detector won't miss a fire in the house. The HomeMatic protocol provides connection to the HomeMatic product world. The AES-128 Security allows you to integrate the smoke detector directly into the security system. Up to 40 HomeMatic wireless smoke detectors of the same type can be networked. If the alarm unit detects smoke, the alarm is triggered and the LED emergency lighting flashes. This function is particularly important at night or in the event of a power failure if you want to get out of the house safely. A further added value of the device is the insect screen with metal net around the smoke chamber.
You want to take even more safety precautions? No problem, the following measures can be initiated by the HomeMatic control centre:

Unlocking of doors
Notification to your mobile phone in the event of fire
The optical scattered-light smoke detector with VdS certification and Q label is very low-maintenance thanks to its long battery life of 10 years. The assembly is done with the supplied screws and dowels.

Information
The device can only be used in groups with smoke detectors of the same type (HM-Sec-SD-2 art. no. 131408) and not in a group with other smoke detectors (e.g. HM-Sec-SD art. no. 76676 or 83813).
