The OPM200 is the ideal companion for the fiber optic cable installer or the IT administrator who wants to test fiber optic cable systems for their output level. Attenuation tests can be performed on passive fiber optic cabling together with a light source such as OLS light sources. Furthermore, fiber breaks or defective connectors can be checked effectively using the integrated, visible laser light source. The small multi-talent also possesses an integrated RJ45 cable test function for a quick check of e.g. a RJ45 patch or installation cable for an interruption, short-circuit and interchanging of the wires. Working in dark environments is child's play thanks to the LCD backlight and an integrated torch.
