The durability of the SSD card is ensured by a powerful controller, while the tool-free installation of an M.2 NVMe drive with a pin design facilitates the uncomplicated use. In addition, the plug-and-play design simplifies the application, since no additional driver installations are necessary.
With a read and write speed of up to 3840 Mbit/s the casing supports high-speed SSDs that use the USB4, Thunderbolt 4 and Thunderbolt 3 standard. The USB4 NVMe SSD Pro Enclosure is also backwards compatible with USB 3.2 2nd Gen (10 Gb/s), USB 3.2 1st Gen (5 Gb/s), USB 2.0 (480 Mbit/s). The actual transfer speed depends on the speed of the SSD card used.
The casing itself, made of high-quality aluminum with a robust polycarbonate sleeve, combines modern design with optimized performance and enables an improved heat dissipation. It includes a clear case for additional protection of the device, a thermal pad for efficient heat transfer and a USB-C cable.
