Without the VW Transporter, there was hardly any package in the Alpine republic in the post-war decades – the delivery units in the mountains were bound to the different generations of vehicles and particularly in the winter were able to appreciate the rear motor on the rear axle as a guarantee for smooth traction. However, the VW T3 in PTT services, which Wiking now miniaturizes with high roof, should also be the last generation of the VW construction concept.
