Description
The Platinum V5 80A V5 is an extremely powerful controller with 5-12V switch BEC for 325420er flight range. In comparison with the previous model, the regulator is able to convince with the faster throttle response, the higher flight efficiency and a lower temperature increase and thus stands out clearly above all from comparable regulators. This is ensured by the installed 32-bit processor in combination with a specially developed algorithm for speed accuracy. In addition to this algorithm, the Platinum V5 is equipped with 80A, which permits various transmitter systems to read out the data of the controller. These include, for example, the Mikado VBar system and Futaba S.BUS2.
The design also shows the modern advantages of the Platinum V5, such as the many protective functions to make the next flight as safe as possible. Below it there is a protection from overheating of the actual controller as well as also for the attached capacitors. In order to prevent too much heat from developing at all and to activate this protection, the controller has a double-sided heat sink with side ventilation. This way, the air can quickly flow through the inside of the controller and cool it efficiently. If this is no longer sufficient, the different protective functions will work and prevent greater damage.
