Electric locomotive Re 6/6 11673 of SBB Cargo.
The RH 6/6 are six-axle electric locomotives of the Swiss Federal Railways, which were purchased as a replacement for the AE 6/6 for heavy duty at the Gotthard. With an hourly output of 7,850 kW and peak at 140 km/h, the 1972 Re 6/6, which was first commissioned in Switzerland, is still one of the strongest locomotives in Switzerland.
Re 6/6 11673 "Cham" was inaugurated on May 12, 1979. After almost 40 years of service, it unfortunately happened on 13 May 2015 when it was traveling on a side in the station Erstfeld, after which the locomotive was discarded and broken off. The coat of arms "Cham" of Re 6/6 11673, however, has been living on Re 4/4 11278 and thus remained intact.
