Description

The ES64F4 electric locomotive is a locomotive platform from Siemens and belongs to the EuroSprinter family. In Germany it is mainly used as series 189 with the German Railways but also private railways and car rental companies use the four-axle electric locomotive. Some DB Cargo machines were provided with automatic couplings (visible at the yellow corners on the side of the headstock) for use in front of the ore trains between Germany and the Netherlands.
