The larger 1/1.28" sensors of the X5 and the lightning-fast triple KI-chip system provide a dramatic leap in picture quality in all resolutions, including breath-taking 8K 30 fps 360° videos. With PureVideo, a new AI-supported weak light mode, the X5 achieves pin-sharp, cinematic recordings even in difficult lighting conditions.
The sturdy 360° camera of all times is made for surviving every adventure. The lenses are made from a new, extremely resistant glass, while a completely new interchangeable lens system, with which damaged lenses can be easily replaced on the move, sets a new standard in the industry. With further hardware upgrades such as built-in wind protection, a longer battery life of 3 hours and a water-tightness of up to 15 m, the X5 becomes the ultimate companion for active content creators.
The X5 makes creating 360° content a child's play - from recording to sharing. The brand new InstaFrame mode simultaneously records an automatically aligned, direct divisible flat video and a complete 360° video, which can be edited later. The Insta360 APP has been revised with more intuitive editing tools and the X5 is supplemented by the Insta360+ cloud service, with which one can immediately share 360° clips, edit in the cloud and much more.
