Description

The TL-SG108PE 8-port Easy Smart Desktop Switch was specially developed for smaller companies that value uncomplicated network management and PoE functionality. It provides an easy way to expand your network by transmitting power and data over a single cable. Thanks to 4 PoE ports, it can power up to 4 PoE-compatible devices such as access points, IP cameras and IP phones. In addition, the TL-SG108PE has a variety of management functions such as network monitoring, traffic prioritization and advanced QoS.


Power over Ethernet
4 of the switch's 8 auto tuning RJ45 ports (ports 1 to 4) support Power over Ethernet (PoE). These PoE ports can automatically detect PoE-compatible network devices and power IEEE802.3af powered devices (PDs). The electrical current is transported together with the data via a single cable. This allows you to easily expand your network where there are no power lines or sockets, but PoE-enabled devices such as access points, IP cameras or IP phones need to be operated.

Effective management
The TL-SG108PE allows easy monitoring of data traffic. With its web interface and management tool, it offers a variety of management functions such as network monitoring, traffic prioritization and advanced QoS. With port mirroring, loop prevention and cable diagnostics, the TL-SG108PE is able to detect and locate connection problems in your network. Administrators can also control traffic priority based on port priority, 802.1P priority, and DSCP priority to ensure voice and video applications always run smoothly. Additionally, the TL-SG108PE supports MTU VLAN, port VLAN and 802.1Q-based VLAN for enhanced security and performance on your network.


Easy to use
The TL-SG108PE is easy to use and manage. Dynamic LEDs provide a real-time overview of the device status and basic fault diagnosis. Its web interface and the Easy-Smart configuration utility make configuration child's play. It can also be used as a simple plug-and-play switch.
