Description

The dbx CT3 is a professional cable tester for use on stage and in the studio. It can be used to check the correct functioning of cables in 10 different connector formats. The operation of the dbx CT3 is very simple. To test very long cables or cables laid in the wall, the CT3 can be easily divided in the middle. Correct function or errors are indicated acoustically and optically. The cable tester is powered by two 9 volt block batteries. This means that the dbx CT3 can be used flexibly anywhere. Testable cables/plugs: 2x MIDI (5-pin DIN), 2x BNC, 2x Cinch, 2x XLR, 2x Speakon, 2x 6.5 mm jack, 2x RVA Phono, 2x RJ45 (Cat5), 2x RJ11, 2x DMX Safety note: When testing mono jack cables, please insert the plug only up to the first click. Otherwise ring and ground are short-circuited.
