Thanks to its flat design, the cable can be laid effortlessly in narrow cable channels, under carpets or behind furniture – perfect for a tidy and inconspicuous installation.
The network cable was developed in order to ensure a constant and reliable connection even at larger distances. This is achieved through high-speed transmission. The higher speed makes it possible to transfer large quantities of data in shortest time. Therefore, this patch cable is an ideal supplement for 25GBase-T and 40GBase-T networks.
The short RJ45 plug offers maximum space saving together with the visual cable. It takes up less space. Thus it is best suited for narrow areas as behind cabinets or tightly packed server cabinets. Especially in devices with little space for connections, such as notebooks, routers or flat Smart home devices, a short plug is extremely practical and functional. Moreover, a short plug can be more easily led through narrow openings or cable penetrations without blocking or protruding. A further advantage is the reduced leverage effect. This reduces the tensile load on the socket and increases the service life of the connections.
