Description
The new MiniFreak Vocoder gives Arturia's bold hybrid synthesizer a vocal upgrade. The proven 6-voice architecture with two digital engines and analog filter is complemented by a detachable gooseneck microphone and a powerful 16-band vocoder engine. Talkbox growls, android choirs or spectral pads – shaped with sequencer, modulation matrix and triple FX-slot directly into ready-to-mix sounds.
Vocoder Power
The classical 16-band vocoder module processes microphone signals or external sources and can be combined with the oscillators of the MiniFreak. The extensive effect section provides the final cut, whether frozen molds, metallic drones or aggressive vocal effects.
Hybrid synthesis in pure form
Two digital sound engines with over 30 modes – solo, stacked or nested – meet polyphonic analog filters. The result: Digital clarity paired with analogue warmth.
Modulation & sound design
An extended modulation matrix with polyphonic envelope curves, freely shapeable LFOs, FM, ring modulation and the well-known Spice & Dice functions enable a detailed, experimental sound design.
Ready to mix stereo sound
Three digital effect slots with over ten effect types – including stereo chorus, 3-band EQ and distortion – provide powerful and production-ready sounds directly from the device.
Performance & expression
The touch-sensitive 37-key keyboard with aftertouch, a flexible sequencer/arpeggiator and creative randomization tools make MiniFreak an expression instrument with fun factor.
Included software
MiniFreak is delivered with an identical VST version – free and fully compatible with the hardware. This allows the hybrid sound to be integrated directly into the DAW environment
