Description

The power meter is a compact instrument for measurement and display of various mains parameters in three-phase networks. This power meter can measure the power values of individual consumers or of electrical branches Apart from the voltages and currents, the apparent, reactive and effective power as well as active and reactive energy is measured and displayed on the large 68 x 55 mm display. An RS485 interface is also integrated in this power meter, which facilitates integration into existing systems. The communication of the RS485 interface is handled using the Modbus RTU protocol. It offers the possibility to read measured values from the power meter, or to read and change the device settings.

The power meter is for panel installation with a cut-out of 96X96 mm. The delivery package includes a transparent door that can be attached to the front, and thus protects the device against dust and moisture. Along with the many measurement functions the power meter offers alarm functions. The stable power supply is the top priority for every network operator. In order to avoid fluctuations in the power quality and faults, network monitoring, control and automation must be adapted and optimized.
