Experimental case for swimming and sinking
The experimental case swimming and sinking contains extensive material for class 2 and 3 classes and has proved itself in the test with class frequencies from 16 to 28 children.
With the stations of the suitcase swimming and sinking, the children develop all the essential single phenomena that can be observed while swimming and sinking. Together, they gather together their findings, until they form an overall picture of the phenomenon of swimming and an explanation that can be understood by all.
At the center of the tests are "ships", which shape the children from two different kinds of knead: From a yellow knead which is lighter than water and therefore floats, and from a red knead which is heavier than water and sinks, unless it is brought into a floating shape.
In addition, the case contains balls and a cube from the materials used in shipbuilding: Wood, steel, aluminum and plastics. A scale can be used to determine the supposed weight loss of a body when immersing it in water.
