Fast one-handed operation
The digital stroboscope uses the so-called "stroboscope effect" to analyze fast movements, vibrations or periodic procedures. With the help of 9 bright LEDs the digital stroboscope generates short flashes of light with an illuminance of up to 1500 lx. These flashes of light are transmitted synchronously to the frequency of the movement to be monitored until the object appears to stand still for the observer. The digital stroboscope allows the user to focus on certain phases or characteristics of the movement to detect defects or irregularities in rotating or oscillating parts.
The flash rate can be read in both FPM (flashes per minute) and Hz (Hertz). The digital stroboscope has a memory for up to 5 preset flash frequencies, so frequently used settings can be repeated quickly and easily. One-hand operation enables easy control and setting of settings without complicated menus. The fine tuning of the flash frequency is carried out on the digital stroboscope step by step by a control wheel. To quickly adjust the flash rate, the digital stroboscope offers options in steps of 10 and 100 as well as the option of doubling or halving the flash frequency.
With an LED brightness setting of 10 to 100 percent the user can adjust the light intensity to his needs, whether for a detailed analysis or a wider illumination. The digital stroboscope also offers a phase shift from -360° to +360°. The digital stroboscope has an internal battery with an operating time of up to approx. 8 hours.
