Product description

Description

The PV-Checks One is an installation tester for photovoltaic systems, which can be used in the 1000 volt level up to a short-circuit current of 30 A DC and, with the unique insulation measurement, sets new standards even in systems with optimization or micro inverters!
PV-Checks One is the complete solution for fulfilling the IEC 62446-1 standards (DIN VDE 0126-23, Part 1 and Part 2) for troubleshooting, maintenance and acceptance of a PV system.
PV-Checks One carries out all necessary tests for commissioning a PV system in automatic order on both single-sided and bi-facial PV modules in accordance with IEC 62446-1.

GO-STOP BUTTON
By pressing the GO-Stop-key the following measurements are carried out one after the other:
• Polarity test
• Continuity of the equipotential bonding conductor
• Determination of the insulation resistances Riso (also with existing optimizers)
• Determination of the open-circuit voltage VOC up to 1000 V DC
• Determination of the short-circuit current ISC up to 30 A DC

In accordance with EN 62446-1-1, PV-Checks One compares the string measured in line with the previously measured strings in order to evaluate voltage and current differences that lie outside the specified tolerances.
By measuring the solar radiation (optional reference cell required) and the PV module temperature (optional temperature sensor required) with the external SOLAR 03 data logger, the PV-Checks One can measure the measured values of VOC-OPC and ISC-OPC on the STC (standard test conditions: 1000 W/m², 25° C, AM 1.5) to compare these with the specified nominal values from the manufacturer's module data sheets.
After each measurement, the PV-CHECK ONE shows the result of the measurement in the display with corresponding evaluation (OK/Not OK).

SPECIAL FUNCTION GFL
Localization of the isolation error on a PV string (ground fault location)
In addition to the application area for micro-inverters and optimizers , the PV-Checks ONE is distinguished by the GFL function for detecting insulation faults. With the help of the ground fault locator (GFL) function the insulation faults can not only be detected fundamentally, but can also be localized precisely. The PV-Checks One shows the suspected position of a fault within a string on the display.
