Overview

The ISO-interface enables a direct USB-connection for 1-DIN-work radios and permits the keeping of the original cable management in the dashboard for a tidy installation. The vehicle-specific plug geometry is matched to the OEM sockets of selected models from Dacia, Ford, Nissan, Opel and Renault, thus simplifying the exchange via plug-and-play. The design of the USB adapter supports integration with work radios and enables audio and media transmission from USB devices during operation. The compact inLine design keeps the dashboard tidy and allows you to install it behind the radio without the need for additional mounting materials.

Description

This car hi-fi adapter converts an ISO cable harness into a USB interface for in-car audio systems and thus enables the connection of USB devices via the factory-installed 1-DIN radio. The adapter fits into the OEM socket and transmits audio and media signals to the car radio, while it fits into the original cable bushing behind the instrument panel. To install, simply disconnect the factory wiring harness from the radio and connect the adapter to maintain the existing cable routing and controls. It is typically used to upgrade or restore the USB functionality in vehicles with car radios supporting external USB sources via an ISO interface.
