Overview

The ISO-T cable interface enables direct connection to the car radio harness, simplifying the integration of Hi-Fi systems. Compatibility with vehicles equipped with Composition Audio MIB Entry allows the front AUX/SD/USB ports to pass through, allowing the existing media ports to continue to be used. The specially adapted plug geometry is suitable for a large number of Audi, VW, Seat and Škoda models and reduces the installation time by using the original plug positions. The system is designed for both vehicles without a factory sound system and those requiring a bypass of the factory sound system and supports the seamless connection of retrofit car radios.

Description

This car radio connection is a T-cable ISO adapter developed to connect standard car radios and the factory-made cable harnesses of various Audi, VW, Seat and Škoda models. The adapter is connected to the vehicle's radio harness and the Composition Audio MIB input wiring to gain access to the front AUX/SD/USB connectors (if equipped) or to create a clean interface in vehicles without the factory sound system. The installation is done simply by plugging the adapter in the original connections and the cable harness of the retrofitted car radio. This makes signal transmission and power supply possible without having to separate the factory-set cables. Typical applications include replacement of factory radios in A-Class and Golf/Polo series vehicles, integration of third-party car radios and maintenance of multimedia connections during upgrades.
