Small but powerful! Since 1948, the car manufacturer Land Rover has produced the vehicle of the same name, whose original development (1947) initially benefited exclusively from civil use in agriculture. The first three model series received only the simple designation series I, II and III. Only the fourth series (from 1983) was promoted under the designation One Ten (110-inch wheelbase) or Ninety (90). The numbers of model names are typical for Land Rover, they provide information on wheel stands (90, 110, 130 inches) for vehicles, even if some deviations are made in favor of rounded numbers. For example, the correct designation would actually have to be 93, as the axle base measures 93 inches (for example, 127 inches for the 130). The small defender retained the name "ninety" until it was renamed in September 1990. After the introduction of the "Discovery" series in 1990, a differentiation was necessary and the Land Rover models were called "Defender". Another new feature is that after 35 years, the rigid axles are suspended for the first time on screw springs instead of leaf springs. In addition, the previously split windscreen is replaced by a continuous window and the fenders are fitted with a plastic extension. The vehicle, which was originally designed for civilian use, was often used during rough expeditions thanks to its ruggedness, so it is no wonder that the Defender can still be found in many crisis areas today.
The reliable vehicle can no longer be taken for granted by various relief organizations and also by the military. The rugged Land Rover is highly regarded as a off-road vehicle, especially in private areas.
The Busch model is the Defender 90 County Station Wagon (CSW), which now drives over stone as a small power package in awkward H0 model landscapes. Sharp contours and detailed features make the coarse canted block a real gem. The characteristic seating arrangement of the interior is also reproduced as a model, as is the different-colored roof. The front view of the model is controlled by the large black radiator mask, in which bright transparent headlights in clear glass optics as well as finest transparent indicators are used. The studded tires and type-compatible rims perfect the striking look. With this model the Busch-four-wheeler-Collection receives another highlight on all-terrain vehicles with cult status.
