Silicone photo-diodes provide for a good adaptation to the solar spectrum. A bi-valved casing minimises the radiation heat, enables a convection cooling of the sensor and prevents the collection of water or dust Install the sensor bracket (not included in the delivery) in addition for mounting near the rain gauge.
