The user-friendly ScanSnap S1300i is only about half the size of a sheet of paper, making it the smallest ScanSnap scanner that can scan multiple double-sided documents at the touch of a button, on the desktop or on the go. Place up to 10 pages in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) and press the blue button. Scan double-sided documents
The ScanSnap S1300i scans both sides of a document at speeds up to 12 pages per minute and converts them to PDF, searchable PDF, JPEG, or Office files such as Word and Excel®. ScanSnap S1300i automatically detects the size of each document, automatically corrects misalignment and automatically displays documents in the correct orientation. You can also have blank pages removed automatically.
USB power supply for greater independence
The ScanSnap S1300i comes with a power adapter and offers the additional option of operating via the USB ports of a computer when no power supply is available. (When using the cable for USB port operation, 2 USB ports must be available on the PC: one for the power supply, the other for the USB cable connection)
New universal interface "ScanSnap Folder"

Useable on Windows or Mac
The Quick menu allows you to quickly switch between different scanning tasks. Just press the scan button and select an application:
- Scan to a folder: Scanned documents are stored in a folder, network folder or in SharePoint (Windows only) or iDisk (Mac)
- Scan to email: Send your electronic documents by e-mail
- Scan business card: Scan business cards and have contact information automatically read
- Scan to printer: Use ScanSnap with your printer to make copies
- Scan to Word (.doc): Scan documents as editable Word files
- Scan to Excel (.xls): Scan documents as editable Excel files
- Send scan to Microsoft SharePoint, send scan to SalesForce Chatter
- Send scan to iPhone®/iPad®/Android™ based device
- Send scan to cloud: Scan to Dropbox, Evernote, Google Docs and/or SugarSync
