The alternate direction indicators control LEDs that simulate hazard warning lights at level crossings, in emergency vehicles and at danger points. The two outputs of the circuit are alternately switched on and off. LEDs can be connected directly to the two outputs of the circuit, the required series resistor is integrated on the circuit.
