Description
No more problem with the LED lighting on the trailer/caravan in connection with CAN bus vehicles. In newer vehicles with CAN-BUS technology, the problem with connecting a trailer with LED lighting is that the on-board computer on the towing vehicle issues an error message. This is remedied by the microprocessor-controlled LED-CAN converter, which is simply plugged between the towing vehicle and the trailer. Continuous plus is not required, a current limitation serves to protect the LED light. The circuit operates without quiescent current. The battery remains unloaded. If an error occurs due to a short circuit or overcurrent, the CAN-BUSS displays an error message because the adapter switches off. The LED adapter is not destroyed, but automatically returns to its operating state after the LED light has been removed.
