Description

This PCI-Express x1 to x16 kit is equipped with an additional 6-pin PCIe power connector and is the ideal accessory for bitcoin mining systems and other systems for mining Altcoin, Ethereum or Ether or Zcash. Bitcoin is a virtual means of payment that is used and managed by all participating clients of the decentralized Bitcoin network. Like many other crypto currencies, bitcoins are generated by computer-solving cryptographic computing tasks using a high amount of energy, which is called mining.As with AMD CrossFire or NVIDIA SLI gaming PCs, not all PCI Express slots can usually be used on the mainboards that serve as the system basis, since powerful graphics cards usually have wide dual fan or even triple fan coolers and thus the space required for additional GPUs is missing or, in many mining PCs, all PCIe slots must be moved due to the respective graphics card constellation. This is where the riser card comes into play, which enables the connection of additional PCIe x16 graphics cards to the mainboard via PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 and the strategic positioning of the cards inside or outside the housing. Power is supplied to the module via the 6-pin PCIe connector.
