Multiple operating modes


Configure the DAP-2020 with seven operating modes according to your personal WLAN requirements:

Access Point mode
In "Access Point" mode, the device acts as a central connection point for WLAN users. This is the most common use of an access point.


Bridge modes
Bridge mode can connect two networks via WLAN, whereas in Bridge with AP mode the device acts simultaneously as WLAN hub and bridge.

Der Repeater mode extends the WLAN coverage so that no blind spots remain.

Im WISP repeater modeWISP users can share their Internet connection with wireless devices without an additional router.


Fast and easy installation
WLAN setup wizard lets you set up your WLAN in minutes. It configures the operating mode of your DAP-2020 and lets you conveniently add new wireless devices to the network.

The integrated schedule function automatically turns off the WLAN when it is not needed. This function reduces energy consumption and saves money.
