Description

FRITZ! 1260E turns any power outlet into a fast and secure Gigabit network connection. With Gigabit Powerline of up to 1,200 MBit/s and the latest 2x2 MIMO technology, significantly more robust connections, longer ranges and higher data throughputs are achieved. In addition, the device provides a WLAN AC+N access point with up to 1266 Mbps for wireless connection of smartphone, tablet and notebook to the home network. Thus FRITZ! 1260E enables broadband applications with highest demands also in the last corner of house and apartment. Powerline 1260E reliably connects network-compatible devices such as computers, televisions or game consoles over long distances in the home network via ultra-fast Gigabit LAN. Long distances and obstacles such as walls and ceilings are easily mastered by networking via the power line. Compared to Powerline adapters of the 500 and 200 Mbit/s class, FRITZ! 1260E enables significantly more transmission capacity and more robust connections - with high energy efficiency. Several demanding broadband applications can thus be used simultaneously.


Fast WLAN AC+N
FRITZ!Powerline 1260E extends the WLAN in the home network with Gigabit speed. The WLAN can thus be provided conveniently, securely and flexibly via Powerline even in rooms with a large distance to the router. The device is prepared for WLAN mesh of an installed FRITZ! box. With maximum security via WPA2 encryption, easy connection of WLAN devices via WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) and data rates of up to 866 MBit/s (WLAN AC) + 400 MBit/s (WLAN N), FRITZ!Powerline 1260E offers great convenience and flexibility for wireless surfing. Powerline 1260E is ideal for broadband intensive network applications such as the transmission of HD videos (also in 3D) as well as fast Internet access, online gaming, web TV, NAS connection and video on demand. Even long distances between the devices do not impair the quality of the transmission. The 2x2 MIMO technology allows up to 60 % greater range in the mains by using two pairs of wires at the same time. If both wire pairs cannot be used simultaneously, the automatic selection of the better transferring wire pair (diversity) ensures robust powerline transmission. Simple and secure ex works

Excellent on FRITZ! powerline products is the individual pre-encryption ex works, which enables immediate, secure commissioning. FRITZ!Powerline 1260E is simply connected to the socket and the device to be networked at the desired location. The adapter is then safely added to the existing powerline network at the push of a button. The connection is established with an individual AES 128-bit encryption (Plug & Play). The FRITZ! 1260E is compatible with current devices of the 1,200, 500 and 200 Mbit/s class. Updates are easily performed via the FRITZ! powerline program or the FRITZ! box user interface.
