Description

In today's world, the security of confidential data is critical. Imagine leaving your personal files on a train or in the back seat of a taxi, for example, knowing that anyone can access them because they are stored on a standard hard drive. Now the secure Store 'n' Go hard drive is available for your peace of mind. AES 256-bit hardware encryption secures all data on the drive seamlessly and in real time. The built-in keyboard is used for entering numerical codes. The hard disk does not store passwords on the computer or on the system's volatile memory and is therefore much more secure than software encryption. If it falls into the wrong hands, the hard disk is locked and must be reformatted after 20 failed password entries. The USB 3.1 GEN 1 hard disk interface with a USB Type C connection provides extremely high data transfer speeds* and is compatible with both PC and Mac operating systems. The scope of delivery includes a USB-C to USB-A cable and a USB-A to USB-C adapter for connection to various devices. It can also be connected to TVs, a feature not possible with regular encrypted hard drives.


Further security is provided by the included Nero backup software, which allows you to back up all files, directories and drives on your laptop or PC at any time. You can even set a time and day for a regular automatic backup! Nero Backup software is compatible with Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 (not with Mac OS).
