Description

Torsion-resistant cast aluminium basket in flat design with internal, ultra-strong neodymium magnet. This allows us to achieve the low installation depth of 41.5mm without sound loss. We use a flat heat resistant linen centering for long, controlled voice coil lift.

For long durability, the strands of the leads are woven into it. The 30mm long-stroke voice coil is made of epoxy high tech glass fibre and responds very spontaneously and quickly to music signals. Large ventilation openings in the basket below the centring ensure good cooling and low compression.

The diaphragm is injection moulded with carbon fibre and attached to the chassis with highly damping rubber beads. Additional diaphragm damping through five asymmetrical stiffening beads.

This enables first-class bass reproduction.

The Neo-30 provides excellent stage reproduction from 2,500Hz - the most important prerequisite for Carhifi at the highest level. In combination with active crossovers, the lowest crossover frequency can be 1,500Hz/24dB. High power handling capacity and efficiency provide additional sound pressure reserves for undistorted volume levels.
